As a Semiconductor Project Manager, you will lead end-to-end semiconductor development projects, ensuring schedule, cost, and quality goals are achieved. You will coordinate cross-functional teams in design, packaging, testing, and mass production while managing communication among internal stakeholders, foundries, OSATs, and customers.
Responsibilities and Opportunities
- Manage semiconductor (SoC/Package) project schedules, budgets, and risks
- Oversee milestones across architecture, RTL design, verification, fabrication, package, test, and qualification stages
- Collaborate with design service providers, IP/EDA vendors, foundries, and OSATs to ensure development efficiency
- Align specifications and requirements with internal BU or customers
- Prepare project reports and implement mitigation plans for technical issues
- Lead problem-solving and risk management during engineering and mass production phases
- Drive continuous improvement and process automation in project execution
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of semiconductor development and 5+ years of project management experience
- Strong understanding of ASIC/SoC development flow
- Proven leadership of cross-functional teams (design, packaging, test, QA)
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) for global stakeholder communication
- Technical understanding with strong project control and leadership
- Excellent problem-solving, organization, and negotiation skills
- Initiative for continuous improvement and process innovation
Preferred Skills
- Experience in package or test development
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or Notion
- Experience collaborating with foundries, fabless companies, or OEM partners
