Responsibilities and Opportunities

As a Field Application Engineer at Rebellions, you will serve as the technical bridge between our innovative AI solutions and our customers. In this role, your proactive communication skills and deep technical expertise will empower you to guide customers through the entire engagement lifecycle—from initial consultation to post-sales support—ensuring they fully realize the benefits of our cutting-edge hardware and software platforms.

  • Customer engagement and end-to-end support: Collaborate with customers from early-stage discussions through post-sales support, providing exceptional technical guidance and ongoing support
  • Technical mastery and solution expertise: Develop an in-depth understanding of Rebellions’ cutting edge hardware and software stack
  • Customer insights and value communication: Understand customer requirements and drive the adoption of Rebellions’ AI solutions by effectively communicating our unique value propositions
  • Persuasive technical presentations: Deliver technical presentations, reports, and compelling demonstrations to establish technical credibility
  • Collaborative feedback and product evolution: Work closely with internal teams to provide feedback from customers and help shape future product enhancements and business opportunities
  • Business development collaboration: Support regional sales team in all sales and business development related activities


Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with strong customer-facing skills (such as Field Application Engineer, Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect)
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Proactive attitude towards learning and adopting new technologies
  • Fluency in Japanese and English (Korean is a plus)


Ideal Qualifications

  • Experience supporting hardware accelerators such as GPUs, NPUs or FPGAs
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with proven track record of supporting customers in fast-paced environments
  • Experience deploying applications in cloud environments
  • Passion for innovation and customer success
