Conduct advanced research and lead the assessment of PCB-level electrical engineering designs, with a primary focus on developing new power subsystems for Rebellions NPU. This includes board schematic design, board-level floor planning (placements and routings), and ensuring power efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Architect and implement board-level thermal solutions that meet mechanical requirements
Lead the assessment of PCB layer stack-up and ensure designs are manufacturable
Ensure the robustness of board designs through power integrity (PI) and signal integrity (SI) engineering.
Prepare technical documents and presentations to effectively communicate findings and progress to stakeholders
Key Qualifications
Experience in the design, bring-up, validation, and production of 350W PCI Express cards or 700W OAM modules
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on technical engineering experience in power electronics, analog system design, and power module design. Extensive knowledge of circuit theory, PI/SI design, testing, and analysis
Expertise in power electronics, including state-of-the-art topologies such as multi-phase Buck, Buck-Boost, LLC, and switch capacitor. Ability to assess new power subsystems with a focus on optimizing power efficiency, transient response, and cost-effectiveness
Proficiency in power and high-speed signal validation/testing using digital oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and electronic loads
Experience with state-of-the-art HPC systems embedding recent NVIDIA, AMD, Intel CPUs, GPUs, or NPUs/chiplets
Proficiency in Korean and English, both written and spoken
Ideal Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to solve problems
Self-motivated, passionate, hard-working, and creative, with a strong interest in learning new technologies
