We are seeking a SoC system architect with deep expertise in scale-up and scale-out architecture for server- and rack-level data center systems, viewed from a SoC and silicon design perspective.
This role focuses on defining how SoCs participate in large-scale systems, including server and rack-scale architectures, and translating data center-level requirements into SoC, chiplet, and IO architecture decisions.
The successful candidate will work at the intersection of silicon, system architecture and data center infrastructure, shaping next-generation platforms for AI workloads.
Responsibilities and Opportunities
- Define scale-up and scale-out architectures from a SoC silicon perspective, and translate server-level requirements (latency, bandwidth, RAS) into SoC interconnect and IO architecture
- Architect scale-up and scale-out system participation of SoCs in rack- and cluster-level deployments
- Define how system-level scale requirements impact IO and high speed interface selection, memory hierarchy, and power/clocking/reset strategies
- Provide architectural guidance during design exploration with design engineers
Key Qualifications
- Master’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in SoC architecture and data center platform design
- Deep understanding of scale-up/out system architecture, server/rack level data center systems and SoC level implications of large-scale system design
- Experience bridging system-level requirements to silicon architecture decisions
